What is an Astral Week? I have never really got this album. It's greatness elluded me. I listened to it a few times this week and I can honestly say that I get it now. This project is really working. I can feel my mind opening up and I can hear so much better than before. This album is beatiful. I find myself even after I moved on going back to it and putting it on just because it is so uplifting. I always love Van. He is someone that can sing the phone book and you would still pony up the money to see it.

dean squishman - Love this album. He seems to have so many to choose from and this is one that I overlooked. It's a great seamless walk down a long country lane with him humming along the entire way. Nobody else does what he does with his voice and it is a thing unto itself. I came away with the impression that I am thankful that there are so many Van Morrison albums out there so that there is a place for all those great sounds he makes to live.. And like so many other albums so far on this list it creates a place that the listener can feel like they are visiting --and it's a good place to visit. Van takes you there.
